James Harden teamed up with Adidas Canada to surprise some high school basketball players from Bill Crothers Secondary School with some new merchandise on Friday night. The young players were told they were going to get to meet a professional basketball player, but they didn't know it was James Harden until he walked through the room and shocked them all.
His new line of Adidas shoes - which happen to glow in the dark - are hitting stores, so might as well hook up some local youth with the first pairs.

It's pretty awesome that a guy from Los Angeles, who plays in Houston, could make such an impact in a city that he only gets to visit once a year. Since he only gets that rare visit each year, he's soaking it all in for the four days that he's in town.
But the one thing the Los Angeles native is going to have to adapt to in the coming days is the frigid weather we're experiencing in Toronto.
