Here at BarDown, we like to… spice things up. Recently we played a hockey game with a double-side blade (that also happened to be 3D printed), so to continue the theme of weird equipment/accessories… we decided to play hockey with an invisible puck!
Well, not exactly.
We’re not talking Harry Potter’s invisibility cloak invisible, but we did paints a bunch of pucks white and they proved to be very difficult to see on the ice. Eric ran the fellas through a bunch of challenging drills, and some proved to clearly have better vision than others.
So, because we know you’ve been itching to see what hockey looks like with an invisible puck, here’s a 12 minute masterpiece of what it looks like.
Of all the best moments… Sam aggressively looking for the puck while Jesse lay on the ice, only for it to be at the blue line was probably the best. Eric’s celly was pretty fire after his GWG as well!
So we’ve used a 3D printed blade… an invisible puck… what should we do next? A double-sided stick? The wrong-handed blade for a game? Let us know what you think we should take on… the sky really is the limit with these videos!
