TEAM CANADA HAS DONE IT AGAIN! TEAM CANADA IS ON TOP OF THE HOCKEY WORLD!
Heading into the tournament, hockey fans were unsure what the 4 Nations Face-Off was going to bring. Would it be All Star Weekend-calibre effort levels (AKA, not really caring), or would we finally get to satisfy a thirst for best-on-best international buy-in that has remained unquenched for far too long?
Let's just say the craving has been successfully crushed. The 4 Nations Face-Off was incredible.
Players, coaches, and fans were totally engaged with the first ever 4 Nations tournament, and the hockey that came along with it was amongst the most skill-rich hockey there has ever been. In the end, one of the biggest rivalries in sports reignited with Team Canada meeting Team USA in the Final, setting the stage for Canada's brightest star.

In a moment that can plausibly be seen as the very moment Team Canada Staple passed the torch to Connor McDavid, #97 sniped home one of the most significant goals in recent history, earning a 3-2 overtime win for Canada.
Oh yeah, you better believe we were live reacting to it.
Luca, Jesse, Poc, and DZ generously volunteered to watch the 3rd period (and beyond) with their broadcast audio turned off so that they could provide you with their live reaction. In a moment that will no doubt go down as an iconic "Where were you when..." moment, the guys were jumping up and down in our podcast room downtown Toronto.
An Avs fan, a Jets fan, a Habs fan, and a Sabres fan all coming together to cheer on the maple leaf. Does it get any more heartwarming than that?
