One of hockey’s best couples will soon be welcoming a new member to the family.
Erik and Melinda Karlsson announced via social media on Wednesday that there’s going to be a new Karlsson coming to Ottawa in nine months time.
Erik sported a blue hat that read “dad” on the front, while Melinda rocked a pink one that said “mom” that let the world know that they’re expecting.
The power pair got married last summer in Ottawa, and are one of the coolest couples around.
One response to Melinda’s name included a name suggestion that’s pretty on point.
As if one Karlsson wasn’t enough, we can only imagine the genes that’ll be present in the baby Karlsson. Whether it’s a boy or a girl, the baby is going to be a great hockey player one day. Word is the baby’s edge work is already fantastic, and can already seamlessly enter in and out of the zone with no issues whatsoever.
