When average Joe's watch professional sports, it's hard not to be in awe of what professional athletes can do. The most fit people imaginable pushing the boundaries of what the human body can do, and showcasing it in ways that leave the rest of us to say "wow."

But are athletes as impressive when they cross over to another sport? Or do they just recede back to looking as average as the rest of us?

The answer is subjective, of course. Depends on the athlete, depends on the sport, depends on the circumstance. Regardless, it's always entertaining to watch some of these athletes enter into a different realm than the one they're used to.

In that spirit, we decided to take advantage of the Ottawa 67's hosting Redblacks night. There aren't many similarities between Canadian football and hockey, but when we took Redblacks players Justin Howell and Deandre Lamont off the field and stuck them on the ice, the results may have been closer than you think.

And it would only be fair to bring the hockey players out to the gridiron as well.

What do you think? Were you surprised by any of the results?
