Kobe Bryant spent his entire 20-year NBA career with the Los Angeles Lakers and owns the franchise record for most games played (1,346), points (33,643) and steals (1,944), to name a few.

On Monday, the five-time NBA champion joined the rest of the Lakers legends in the Staples Center rafters, only the team did things a little different for him on special night.

Since Bryant rocked both the No. 8 and the No. 24 at different points in his career, the Lakers decided they couldn’t go with just one of his two numbers and decided to retire them both.
