Baseball fans are well aware of just how good Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is and it’s a little scary to think about how he’s only going to get better with each passing day.
The 20-year-old’s season started a little late but he didn’t waste any time picking up where he left off last year. He entered his fifth game of the season on Wednesday with one home run and five RBI while batting .385 with a .467 OBP and he added to those stats in a hurry. In the top of the fourth inning, Guerrero stepped up to the plate and crushed his second home run of the season that landed all the way in the parking lot.
Hopefully a fan isn’t going to find a massive crack on their windshield when they get to their car after the game, but it’s just another reminder that it’s a bad idea to park near the stadium, especially when you’re in home run territory and Vlad Guerrero Jr. is in the lineup.
It’s only a matter of time until we see the 20-year-old in a Blue Jays uniform.
