The college football season opened up this past weekend and we’ve already seen our fair share of blowouts, upsets and must-see moments from games across the country.
More games took place on Monday night and there were even more outstanding plays and must-see moments. In the game between the Virginia Tech Hokies and the Florida State Seminoles we saw another one of the shortest punt returns in football history as the Hokies’ special teams stepped up in a massive way in the second quarter.
For the second time in as many nights we’ve witnessed one of the shortest punt return touchdowns in the history of football as Toledo’s Cody Thompson pulled off something similar in the Rockets’ 66-3 blowout over the Virginia Military Institute Keydets.
Plenty of weeks of football are ahead of us and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for us.
