Introducing the Newfoundland Growlers.
Playing out of St. John’s, Newfoundland, the ECHL’s newest team is expected to be an affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs. St. John’s previously had a team in the AHL, but as is becoming more and more popular they have made the move to the ECHL. They are the 9th team to make the change.
On Tuesday morning the Growlers announced their official name, logo, and colours, all of which were met with impressed enthusiasm by most hockey fans. As you would expect, some concept jerseys have started to emerge.
This was the first to pop up, with an improvement made on Thursday
Following up after was Jeff Tasca, who has made his name through conceptual jerseys.
He also switched up the alternate to be more predominantly gold-based.
No matter which one you’re into the most, they are definitely all very cool. With colours like gold, black, and white, it’s hard to go wrong – just ask the Vegas Golden Knights.
