Team USA revealed their outdoor jersey for the first ever World Junior outdoor game this year, and they look somewhat familiar.
The game is being held in Buffalo this year, so it appears they have tried to pay homage to their hosts by using jerseys nearly identical to the Buffalo Bills. Of course, it is done in a hockey style, and the red white and blue fits with the team.
Two people who will be fans of these jerseys are Ray Ferraro and Gord Miller. As the people who have to try to identify all of these young players at the World Juniors, those big numbers can make a big difference.
So far, the reception has not been great from the fans.
It will be interesting to see what jersey Team Canada decides to wear for the event, and hopefully it receives a better reception than this one did off the bat.
