Top-10 tennis player has a bizarre ability to identify tennis balls based on smell

Dominika Cibulkova is one of the most talented tennis players in the world, but somehow, this hidden talent might be even more impressive.

Cibulkova was knocked out of Wimbledon over the weekend, but she’s still ranked as the 8^th best women’s tennis player in the world at the moment. She should be ranked as the number one nose in the world though. That may seem like an odd statement, but you’ll totally understand after watching this video of her showing off one of the most bizarre talents ever.

So, Cibulkova can identify which of the four majors a tennis ball comes from just based on the smell. She nails the test in that one, and it does make a little more sense when you see that she smells the ball before every serve. That’s a lot of tennis balls to have sniffed in a lifetime.

She’s a hockey fan too, so we’ll have to see if she’s able to do the same with pucks from around the NHL.
