To do what Tom Brady did last night in the Super Bowl, one would need a great deal of self-confidence. How much Brady really had wasn't clear until we saw this commercial after the game.
Watching the Super Bowl ads throughout the night, we thought we had already seen the best of the best, but the night's winner actually goes to an ad that aired after the game. In an ad for a local health care group, Shields Healthcare, Brady puts his four rings somewhere safe before his appointment, but then pulls one more "new" ring from last night. That means long before the Super Bowl was played, Tom Brady recorded this commercial predicting he would win, along with a potential shoutout to his best-bud, Roger Goodell.
We're not sure if the "Roger That" line was directed at Goodell, but with the hookspa it took to record this commercial before the game, we're just gong to go ahead and assume that is the case.
Brady needed a lot to go right, and it even appeared he was a bit down on his luck at one point in the first half.
Whatever was going through his head when he recorded this commercial was probably a lot different from last night; he was probably hoping for things to be a little easier than the first overtime Super Bowl game in NFL history. If you want to see the rest of the Super Bowl ads from last night, here's a round up of the best ones.
