There were high expectations in Oklahoma City this year after the Thunder acquired Paul George and Carmelo Anthony during the offseason, but they ended up falling way short as they were bounced in the first round by the Utah Jazz.
However, despite an early exit from the NBA playoffs, the Thunder faithful still showed up at the airport after the game to welcome the team back to town at 4am local time.
It was a tough exit for the Thunder, especially with the controversial missed foul call on Paul Georgeโs three-point attempt in the dying seconds of the game, but the fans still showed as happy as they were the day Paul George arrived in town for the first time as a member of the team.
