Neymar Jr. is officially a member of Paris Saint-Germain after a world-record transfer fee of 222 million-euro ($262-million) and PSG fans couldnβt be happier.
After spending the past four seasons with Barcelona, the 25-year-old Brazilian forward decided to switch things up and will now be playing in Ligue 1.
On Friday, Neymar officially touched down in Paris and received quite the warm welcome the second he got off the plane.
With Neymar in town for the first time since the world-record transfer and set to meet with the media for the first time since joining his new club, thousands of fans stormed the streets and took their places outside Parc des Princes to give their new superstar the warmest of welcomes.
After rocking his new uniform for the first time and doing some tricks for the cameras, Neymar took to the streets of Paris in his new threads to greet all the fans who took time out of their day to make him feel right at home.
Itβs been nearly 24 hours since the deal became official and thereβs already been hundreds of Neymar jersey sales at the PSG shop.
