This ref deserves a raise after his reaction to Stefon Diggs’ game-winning TD

The Minnesota vs. New Orleans game ended in quite possibly the most-dramatic way possible.

With the emotion in that stadium it would be easy for anyone to get caught up in the moment. The game is over and there’s not much left to do other than let the Vikings and their fans celebrate. Still, no matter the situation, this referee is clearly making sure he gets the job done.

After Diggs’ touchdown, there were zero seconds left on the clock. The game was over. Still, this referee penalized him for tossing his helmet after the TD.

Of course, he’ll get picked on for an emotionless flag toss at the end of the game now, but that is quite possibly the most professional performance we’ve ever seen. Give that man a raise.
