It's now safe to say that the Celtics hold the upper hand in the discussion on who won the Kyrie Irving trade.
Thursday, the Cavaliers performed an extreme makeover on their roster, trading away six players, including Isaiah Thomas, who was sent to the Lakers in exchange for Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr.
Although it seemed as if Thomas wasn't exactly enjoying his stay in Cleveland, it seemed as if he wanted to stick it out. In a statement that aged very, very poorly, Thomas expressed on Wednesday night that he wanted to stay with the Cavs, as he's tired of being traded. Ouch.
Less than 14 hours later, Thomas was traded to the Lakers, closing out his time as a Cavalier, and putting an end to the IT experiment in Cleveland. Check out all the reactions to the Cavaliers huge trade deadline day here.
