It’s World Junior SZN everyone.
Without NHL players at the Olympics this season, this might be the most competitive hockey we get all year, so we’re going all in. Every team has a bunch of studs going in to this tournament, so the quality of hockey is going to be as good as it’s been in years.
Selection camps are already underway (Canada and Denmark even played a friendly today), but before that, some of Hockey Canada’s top players sat down for an NHL 18 tournament.
Congratulations to Taylor Raddysh and Michael McLeod for their big win and hopefully it leads to good things.
Either way, it’s going to be a good tournament. It’s always exciting to see the projected number one overall pick in action and Rasmus Dahlin will be featured heavily on Team Sweden. On top of that, you’ve got players like Victor Mede, Eeli Tolvanen, Olli Juolevi, Miro Heiskanen, Andrei Svechnikov and many more who will up the skill level. There are even rumours that Tyson Jost might be offered up to Team Canada.
Move over Christmas, it’s World Junior SZN.
