Artists express themselves through their music, and although sports related songs aren't really the norm when it comes to mainstream music, that doesn't mean they aren't popular.

It's all about audience, and for hockey fans, playoff anthems about their teams are the perfect rallying song for a deep playoff run.

Oilers and Leafs fans know what we're talking about as songs about Connor McDavid, Auston Matthews and the Leafs were made ahead of the postseason:

As great as those tunes are, though, there are others just as good.

Take this one from Jake Buckley, for example.

It's not rap, but that doesn't matter.  What is important is the passion in Buckley's voice for the team.

If you're not into rock, though, here's an Oilers anthem more on the techno side.

And if you're not feeling either one of those, maybe a remake will get your blood pumping.

As we said before, the Oilers aren't the only Canadian club with a playoff anthem.

The Leafs also have a couple, including this beauty:

Not everyone likes the Leafs, though, so for everyone who hates the Buds, this may be a more suitable anthem for you.

Music makes these playoff moments that much better, and just like Dart Guy, they are songs fans can rally around, especially if the Leafs and Oilers advance to the second round of the playoffs.
