If you are a baseball romantic like us, then we know you are counting down the days until next week’s inaugural Field of Dreams game between the Chicago White Sox and New York Yankees.
Set to take place in Dyersville, Iowa in the city the film was filmed back in the 80s, both teams will be rocking some 1919 style jerseys that finally were released to the public just this afternoon.
And we absolutely love the jerseys.
The New York Yankees get rid of their native colour match-up and opt for a black colour along with new typography to give us some serious throwback vibes that the film just radiates.
The Chicago White Sox, on the other hand, may just be our favourite of the two. They went absolutely all out with these and they’re just a thing of beauty. Opting for pinstripes, the White Sox adopted the throwback logo and just ultimately took it up a notch.
Both teams additionally have new caps, both having a feel of hand stitching to them and have us absolutely drooling.
Definitely our favourite jersey drop of the season.
