Third jerseys made a return to the NHL this season, but not every team has a third jersey or has unveiled its alternate sweater yet. The Tampa Bay Lightning, for example, just revealed their third jersey earlier this month in a unique way.
Fans were waiting on that jersey reveal and they've also been waiting on Toronto's jersey reveal. Based on leaks, it was assumed that the St. Pats uniform was making a return and on Tuesday, we got confirmation of that.
What we didn't get, however, was a full jersey reveal which leads us and many to think that this St. Pats jersey, which will be worn on March 15th and 16th, could be a different version of the classic sweater.
We'll have to wait until midnight to find out what the jersey looks like as that's when it will be revealed and it will be exclusively available at Real Sports for the first 24 hours.
