Two of the greatest to ever take the field, Rodgers and Brady have surprisingly only played each other on one occasion. While this means that it may not quite be the quarterback rivalry that Brady had with Peyton Manning, it still represents a very important matchup. You see, both have been called the GOAT before.
Bradyβs rings speak for themselves, and the majority of people would say that he takes the GOAT crown if it comes down to the two of them. Saying that, up until Sunday night Rodgers had won the only matchup between the two future Hall of Famers. Brady changed that, leading the Patriots to 14 unanswered 4th quarter points to secure the victory.
The sports world reacted accordingly, with praises for the GOAT.
