The Philadelphia Eagles embraced their underdog status throughout their run to the Super Bowl.
They knew it would be tough to top Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots, especially with Nick Foles and Carson Wentz at quarterback and based on personnel, it's easy to see why many thought the Patriots would come out on top.
Philadelphia is the city of underdogs, though, and the Eagles and their fans believed they could win the big game. Even though the Eagles blew a sizeable lead and were down late, they never gave up and Foles found Zach Ertz for the score to reclaim the lead.
Then, on New England's next possession, the Eagles forced a fumble and recovered to add more points before sealing the Super Bowl on defence.
