An era is about to come to an end in Vancouver as Daniel and Henrik Sedin announced on Monday that they plan on retiring at the end of the season.

The duo joined the Canucks organization nearly 20 years ago and they’ve put together historic careers during their 17-year careers, so the fact that the team will be without the twins next season for the first time in nearly two decades you can bet that Canucks fans across the world thought they were being served a late April Fool’s Day prank and are devastated by the news.

Whether or not you actually like the Canucks, it’s hard to hate on the Sedins considering they’re two of the most respected players in the entire NHL and everything they’ve done for the city outside of hockey, and plenty of people shared some of the great memories they have with the one of the twins or with both.

It’s hard to picture the Canucks without the Sedins in their lineup and it’s certainly going to take some time to get used to. As for the twins, they’re two of the greatest players to ever suit up for the Canucks organization and their numbers speak for themselves. Here’s what they accomplished during their playing careers and where their numbers rank all-time within the Canucks’ organization.
