This was a long time coming from the Toronto Raptors. The team’s 24-year history has really been all about getting to this point, to their first NBA Finals, with a chance to bring a NBA championship to Canada.
It’s been these last few years, the DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry era, that the Raptors have made some serious progress as a contender. Around the same time, the team began to brand itself around a new ‘We The North’ identity, a new team image that has really resonated with fans.
It’s only right that the Raptors throw it back to the OG We The North video that started it all — only this time, with Kawhi and the 2018-19 Raps.
