There are obvious things that many people don't about snow. The white fluffy stuff makes it difficult to drive and nobody likes shovelling it off their driveway. That said, snow is great for many fun activities like snowball fights or outdoor hockey.
Snow adds to the atmosphere of playing hockey outdoors and makes it that much more enjoyable.
On December 29th, hockey fans making the trip to Buffalo should probably expect snow as USA and Canada will play their outdoor game at New Era Field and a week before the game, this beautiful picture of the rink was taken:

Of course, this is nothing new for the home of the Bills. The last time it hosted a hockey game, snow was falling and it made for an entertaining game and tremendous atmosphere.
