One of the worst feeling as a hockey player is getting a penalty for something stupid AND getting it at the wrong time.
Luckily for the Ottawa Senators, they got out of one that could have potentially cost them their 3-0 win over Vancouver.
With four minutes left to go in the third period, Ottawa was caught with 6 men and one goalie on the ice in their own end! Thankfully for them, Brady Tkachuk rushed to the bench before anyone would notice.
Wow, this could have gone badly for the Sens. Four minutes is more than enough time to make a comeback when you’re only losing by two. Especially if you add a power play into the mix.
Talk about sneaky!
