From Connor McDavid to Wayne Simmonds to Josh Ho-Sang, the On The Bench boys have given all sorts of hockey tips to a bunch of NHL players over the past year.
The guys met up with different hockey players ahead of the season, with one of them being Winnipeg Jets centre Mark Scheifele.
During their time together, the boys taught the former first round draft pick a few things about how to get greasy in the face-off circle and they weren’t afraid to get dirty as usual.
The season is only 14 games in but so far it looks like their techniques are paying off for Scheifele as he’s won 46.53% of his face-offs this season, which is three percent higher than last season and a career-high for the 24-year-old.
