At 6' 9", Zdeno Chara is the tallest player in hockey (thanks for stating the obvious, right?). The future Hall of Famer towers over the entire National Hockey League, but sometimes seeing him on the ice doesn't give you a good sense of how tall he actually is.
As the old saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words and this past weekend while the Bruins were in Nashville, Chara took a picture with the NHL's smallest player, Rocco Grimaldi (5' 6") and the two standing side-by-side is incredibly enjoyable to look at.
If you ever wondered what someone with average height would look like standing beside Chara, you don't have to wonder anymore. The top of Grimaldi's head is at Chara's shoulders which is just nuts.
The 25-year-old gave the hockey world the picture it didn't know it needed, but will now not be able to live without, so thank you Rocco!
