The New York Jets decided to do a little rebranding and their new look has particularly caught the attention of football fans North of the border.
A photo of the team’s new uniforms leaked on Twitter and wouldn’t you know it, they look nearly identical to the Saskatchewan Roughriders’. There are some minor differences but the colour patterns are essentially the same (minus the black jersey, which we actually think is pretty sweet). The jerseys are set to officially be revealed on Thursday, but it’s basically impossible these days to hide a jersey before its initial unveiling.
Right?
What, you thought fans weren’t going to comment about this on Twitter? Think again, the Roughriders jokes were flying!
It’s uncanny really.
The NFL released its hats for its upcoming draft and in case you didn’t notice, the Jets were the only team to not release one. The club reportedly altered its logo as well and were not willing to reveal their new lid before Thursday. Here’s a look at every hat by division:
The Draft kicks off on April 25 so the football world will get a much closer look at the jersey there.
