The NBA does a great job of making itself open to families of players, allowing them to have a platform if they want it. From Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan bringing their children up on to postgame press conference podiums to the popularity of Ayesha and Riley Curry to even LaVar Ball, the NBA has never been shy about sharing its spotlight.

It should come as no surprise, then, that NBA’s video for Take Your Child to Work Day is awesome and shows a wide number of NBA players bringing their children on the court during pregame shootaround, and even in one case, a postgame TV interview:

Wholesome content! Nothing can top a clutch sequence at the end of a close playoff game, but moments like these bring an important perspective to the game and its players. It can get lost in how often sports are discussed through the context of stats, salary and even slander, but athletes need to be humanized, too!

It is, also, a great preview of the 2026 NBA Draft, when LeBron James Jr. will be selected with the first overall pick and proceed to dominate the next decade-plus of NBA basketball. Because you already know.
