Perhaps more than any other sport, hockey style – or “sty” – is a huge part of the culture.

Black tape or white tape? Tongues in or tongues out? Tinted visors? Bucky hang? Jersey tuck? There’s a lot that goes into the sty conversation.

However, through all that, there may not be an element of hockey style more directly artistic than the goalie mask. There’s different styles of mask in terms of functionality (looking at you Arturs Irbe and Chris Osgood), but the REAL style question is the artwork.

Some goalies have really taken it upon themselves to have a sweet mask, but only a handful can make it into hockey lore as the greatest of all-time. To take a look at some of the good, and some of the bad, we tier-listed those bad boys!

CuJo HAS to be the greatest, right? If you disagree, make sure to let us hear about it in the YouTube comments.
