Tomas Plekanec’s signature turtleneck is a well-known look around the league, but we haven’t seen many other players try it on.
Well, we can thank the Montreal Canadiens for putting together this video of their players trying on the turtleneck and sharing their reviews. Unfortunately, it doesn’t sound like many of them were converted over to Plekanec’s side of things... with the exception of Joel Armia.
Karl Alzner steals the show, we think. “He's on something, not onto something,” he says.
Still, players will occasionally rock the turtleneck, often as a way to show Plekanec some love. After a preseason game between the Canadiens and the Ottawa Senators, defenseman Chris Wideman was inspired to try on the look himself.
