The Tampa Bay Lightning unveiled their new third jerseys ahead of their tilt with the St. Louis Blues on Thursday night and they did it in an unusual fashion. Rather than sharing photos or some sort of produced video ahead of the game on social media, they decided to use their walk-out as the time to introduce their new threads to the world.

A lot of Lightning fans are happy to see the team bring back some sort of black alternate uniform, but you can’t always please everyone which is why the release of their new threads let to all sorts of reactions.

Lightning goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy even had a black and white version of his mask created for whenever the Lightning rock the new threads.
