Quite the game for Cristiano Ronaldo!
In Friday’s hotly anticipated matchup between Portugal and Spain, Ronaldo did not disappoint, scoring all three of Portugal’s goals and playing Spain to a 3-3 draw on his own lonesome.
After scoring his first goal just four minutes into the match, Ronaldo had a celebration that the Internet can’t pry itself away from. Curiously, he began stroking his chin.
Many theories posit that this was a dig at Lionel Messi, who recently featured in a photoshoot with a real goat. The idea, of course, is that he’s the GOAT, or the Greatest of All Time.
Not so quick, says Ronaldo! The audacity to this after just your first goal, by the way, of an eventual hat-trick performance is something that really should not be forgotten in this.
It isn’t just Twitter detectives, either. The Associated Press is also on this, so we’re taking this whole thing as very real, if not outright fact.
