Social media has become a big part of the identity of teams in every sport and two of the best in the NHL right now are the Carolina Hurricanes and the Colorado Avalanche’s social media crews.
On Thursday night, the Avs and the Canes go head-to-head for the first time this season and the hosts made sure to take care of their visitors during their only trip to Denver this season.
The new friendship between the Hurricanes and the Avalanche is one we didn’t know we needed, and it didn’t end there. After the Canes got settled in at the Pepsi Center, the hosts spread a little holiday cheer and left them a gift on one of the bags.
It’s too bad they only play each other twice a season.
