There used to be a time that grinding down a 16-stair handrail was a big deal. These days, unless you're 360 flipping into that grind or doing it switch, you're pretty much guaranteed that the trick will get little more than a slight eyebrow raise.

Are we exaggerating? Yeah, a little bit. But take one look at the Street League selection for 'Trick of the Year' and tell us that skateboarding hasn't progressed to the point where it actually manages to look CRAZIER than a Tony Hawk Pro Skater game.

Kyle Walker who skates for Real and Vans had a pretty successful 2016. Not only managing to put a Trick of the Year trophy next to his Thrashers Skater of the Year award, but also managing to blur the line between reality and a video game to the point that we're still wondering if we weren't just watching someone play N64.
