The Golden Knights had the best tweets cheering for the Oilers to help them clinch a playoff berth

The Winnipeg Jets took matters into their own hands Sunday night by beating the Nashville Predators to clinch their first playoff berth since the 2014/15 season.

The Vegas Golden Knights, on the other hand, didn't play Sunday, but they had a chance to clinch if the Oilers could beat the Ducks. Unfortunately Edmonton couldn't hold their lead and lost in overtime, which led to a few great tweets from Vegas.

Nothing better than a good GIF of a dog to sum up how the Golden Knights and their fans were feeling after the result of the Oilers and Ducks game.

The Golden Knights' tweets during the game were just as good as the ones once the game was over, too.

Luckily Vegas has a chance to clinch a playoff spot by getting at least a point against the Avalanche Monday night or if the Kings lose to the Flames.
