The Vegas Golden Knights have defied the odds so far this season, and the team’s Twitter account is letting their doubters hear about it.
The league’s newest team improved to 11-6-1 following an impressive 5-2 victory that featured a three-goal third period over their division rival Vancouver Canucks. They currently sit second in the Pacific division and just a single point out of first place, not too shabby when you consider the roster was assembled through the expansion draft.
Expectations for the Golden Knights were understandably low at the beginning of the season, but the team has thrived despite running into a plethora of goaltender injuries. Following their most recent win, the social team released a hilarious tweet that took a direct shot at all of their doubters.
We’re sure that’s one incredibly long book of screenshots, and one that we would love to see.
If that wasn’t enough, they also had to remind everyone that the squad is undefeated following six-goal losses. In case you were wondering, their only loss of such sorts came in their previous matchup against the Edmonton Oilers.

Both the ice hockey and Twitter team have helped put the Golden Knights on the map so far, and no one expected either to be as popular as they are right now.
