The Heritage Classic is heading to Regina next month, and the Calgary Flames are going to be looking clean for the event.
The team unveiled their Heritage Classic jerseys on Friday, throwing it back to the retro whites of the 80s.
These are... flames. Maybe it would be a bit too wild visually, but we do wish that the Flames would bring back the diagonal stripe from their jerseys of the late 90s. These were definitely weird, but a good type of weird if you ask us.
The Flames’ Heritage Classic opponent, the Winnipeg Jets, will unveil their own jerseys later today. If they also revive their jerseys from the 80s — they’ve worn the throwback whites recently, but not the blues — we’d have a pretty sweet-looking matchup on our hands.
