The ultimate experience for any football fan is going to the Super Bowl.  It's arguably the greatest sporting event in the world, but it's also one of the most expensive sporting events to go to.

Tickets alone are ridiculously expensive and if there's a chance to save any money during Super Bowl week, you have to take it.  This year's Super Bowl is in Atlanta and the Falcons are doing everything they can to help people save money while at the game.

Super Bowl LIII tickets are expensive ... but the Falcons are keeping concessions prices low.

The Falcons introduced fan-first pricing when they opened their new stadium back in 2017 and it's been a hit since.  The fact that they're keeping it going for the Super Bowl is also awesome.

ESPN's Vaughan McClure did a story on the concession prices for the Super Bowl and Falcons CEO and President Rich McKay revealed how they're prepping for the big game.

A meeting took place two weeks ago with concessionaire Levy to make the final preparations for the Super Bowl. One last-minute alteration was to add another walk-in cooler. There are 12 walk-in food coolers and 29 for keg storage. Fans will have more time to spend, so the stadium can't afford to run out of items. To illustrate, the stadium will have 75,000 bottled waters and 55,000 hot dogs stocked for the Super Bowl.

"Traditionally, we open the door two hours before, but for this, we'll open four hours before,'' McKay said. "So there's no question, from a food standpoint on hot dogs, chicken tenders, whatever it may be, we're going to be well-stocked, because we know that we're going to face a high-volume event just, for no other reason, the amount of time it's going to be open.''

This fan-first menu is something we imagine all fans want their teams to employ as not having to spend $30-$50 on food and beer would make the experience that much more enjoyable.
