If you’ve ever been a social media manager before, you know just how brutal it is to miss a magical moment with your camera.
Because if you didn’t Insta it, did it even happen? Absolutely not.
Unfortunately, someone on the Dallas Stars’ social team had one of those heartbreaking moments last night. During the Stars’ preseason tilt against the Colorado Avalanche, Jason Robertson scored a beauty of a goal in their 3-1 victory. Tragically, the social team didn’t get a video of the goal.
The good news? They found an excellent way of improvising.
The Stars social team put together this hilarious little bit of a Microsoft Paint-esque cartoon Robertson, complete with number 21 on his jersey, scoring a goal. Then, they cut to the fly by of the bench!
They definitely made up for missing the goal with this. Nice one, guys!
