The Cleveland Cavaliers NBA fans have come to know over the past three years could look very different next season, especially when you take into account the news that broke on Friday.
Kyrie Irving reportedly requested a trade last week when he met with the Cavs and the news stunned LeBron James and the basketball universe to say the least.
After the news broke on Twitter, more information surfaced, including the teams Irving apparently would prefer to be traded to.
There's something funny and interesting about Irving's list, though, and no, it's not the fact that he wants to be traded to the Knicks (although that is quite hilarious).
No, the funny, yet interesting thing about the list is that Irving doesn't have a no trade clause, and fans were quick to point that out.
Sure, the Cavs may try and do right by Irving by trading him to one of the four teams he requested, but by no means do they have to.
Carmelo Anthony, on the other hand, has a no trade clause and that's why it's been so hard for the Knicks to trade him.
At the end of the day, the Cavs will trade Kyrie to whichever team will give them the best deal, and according to reports, LeBron will let Cleveland's front office take care of the situation.
