The Colorado Avalanche marketing team is apparently getting some outside of the box thinking going for their promotions this season.
The team has struggled for the last couple of years, and fans were pretty down in the dumps after last season’s historically bad performance – so it makes sense that attendance might not be the strongest this season. So, how do the Avs plan to attract fans? Shower heads.
That’s right, if you attended last night’s Avs vs. Stars game, you got a free shower head.
Now, if these things give you an avalanche-like stream of water, nobody is going to complain. There are few better ways to start your day than with a great shower and one of the most important ingredients to that is an steady stream.
Of course, with the “energy-efficient” tag, some fans were concerned about the flow.
Most people were just confused though.
