Rafael Nadal proved once again on Sunday at the French Open that he is indeed the ‘King of Clay’.
It didn’t take the 31-year-old very long to capture his 10th career French Open title, as he took down Stan Wawrinka in straight sets (6-2, 6-3, 6-1).
Considering it was a title match against the 2015 French Open champion, it ended up going a lot quicker than expected and the tennis community took notice.
Even the champ was happy about his 10th French Open title.
Nadal’s 10th French Open title is certainly a big one, but he also accomplished something else with his victory as he became the oldest player to capture his their 15th Grand Slam title.
Nadal put on a clinic all tournament long and ended up finishing on top.
