When it comes to the World Junior Championship, Team Canada is no stranger to star power. There are a TON of legends that have gone through the exciting U-20 tournament, helping Canada to a record 20 gold medals, along with 35 medals overall.
But if you were to craft the ULTIMATE Team Canada World Juniors player, which attributes would you steal from former Team Canada members?
Don’t take our word for it, hear from Team Canada players themselves. Jesse recently met with Tij Iginla, Beckett Sennecke, Andrew Cristall, Colby Barlow, and Sam Dickinson to get their thoughts!
You knew Tij’s dad Jarome was going to be in there somewhere, and toughness certainly makes a lot of sense. Other popular answers included Connor McDavid’s hands, Wayne Gretzky’s IQ, and Eric Lindros was another popular answer for toughness.
Not going to lie, that’s a damn good hockey player. Can the World Juniors come a little quicker, please?
