Christmas parties have become almost as big as Halloween parties for NHL players, because with ugly Christmas sweaters in the mix, they can get more creative than ever.
Players have started posting photos from their team Christmas parties and some St. Louis Blues players have gone above and beyond this year. If we’re being honest, it’s become more of a Christmas-themed costume party.
It’s clear that Vladimir Tarasenko has gone with the “Tree Rex” pun for his sweater, but we’re having trouble explaining the other two. Brayden Schenn is some kind of blend between Santa and a Christmas present and Patrick Berglund is a much shorter man in an ugly Christmas sweater on the shoulders of a snowman.
This is apparently a popular option this year because some Bruins players have been wearing similar stuff.
