Trashtalk is an an inevitable part of sports.

Honestly, we’d go so far as to call it an art.

Of course, there’s no better way to get into your opponent’s head than to just be better than them, but when skills fail, a good chirp will often suffice.

Sometimes, though, nothing speaks louder than actions.

The Indianapolis Colts are set to take on the Houston Texans in an AFC Wild Card game and things got a little chippy beforehand.

The last time these two foes faced off was December 9th, when the Colts proved victorious in a 24-21 win, where receiver T.Y. Hilton caught nine passes for 199 yards. In a post-game presser, Hilton called NRG Stadium, home of the Texans, "his second home”.

Obviously, this comment didn’t sit well with Houston, and cornerback Jonathan Joseph was quick to respond.

“Nah, man, that’s for clowns, that’s for TV. That’s what they do. You put something in their face, anybody can say it. Sounds good, it’s easily said, I could easily say that, too. We could call the division our division since I’ve been here, last five out of eight years. It’s not our first rodeo, so we’ll be ready.”

This duo already has some serious beef, and got into a bit of a physical fight on the field last season.

Clearly, that bit of animosity is still there.

Hilton didn’t respond to Joseph with his words, but today, he showed up to the game in a clown mask.

No, really.

Hilton doesn’t seem to be bothered by Joseph’s comments, and we think he wins this round. The winner of the game, however, remains to be seen.
