The Toronto Raptors did a pretty good job shutting down the Golden State Warriors leading up to Game 2 of the NBA Finals. In the three previous meetings (two regular season games and one playoff game), the Raptors outscored the Warriors 362-330 and won all three meetings, but things changed on Sunday night.

Toronto actually went into halftime with a lead over Golden State, but a 20-0 run for the Warriors in the third quarter quickly changed the momentum and put the visitors in the driver’s seat the rest of the night. The Raptors actually went on to outscore the Dubs, 24-21, in the fourth quarter, but some questionable calls on defence helped Golden State come out on top.

Following the game, Steph Curry talked about his team’s performance in the second half and took a shot at the Raptors’ lack of defence.

Andre Iguodala ended up hitting the massive wide-open basket with just under 6 seconds left to play and it helped the Warriors even the series at one game apiece.
