Live sports may not be an option right now but there are a wholllllllleeeeee lot of movies available that are available to fill the void.
Miracle, Remember The Titans, Coach Carter... they're all options. But come on... everyone needs a laugh right now, are we right? Well you're in luck, because TSN has GOT. YOU. COVERED!!!!
Tonight at 8 PM Eastern Time, we'll be airing everyone's favoruite sports comedy movie on TSN3. That's right... DODGEBALL BABY!!!! Members (and coaches) of both the Average Joe's and Purple Cobras gave us some golden lines that are still used by millennials today so ahead of tonight, we wanted to take the time to remember some of them. There are some spoilers here so get off if you've never seen the movie (why would you have even clicked the article in the first place?!).
Without further ado, here they are... (in no particular order):
"No one makes me bleed my own blood" - White Goodman
Ah, yes. A classic. Very insightful White!
"If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball.' - Patches O'Houlihan
Patches was a character... and a maniac.
"Remember the 5 D's of dodgeball: Dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge."
He was quite the poet as well.
"**** you Chuck Norris" - White Goodman
Just wait until the last scene of the movie, it might be the best line from the movie.
"I just threw up in my mouth a little bit." - Kate Veatch
Haven't we all Kate, haven't we all?!
"Oh, I don't think I'm a lot dumber than you think that I thought that I thought I was once." - White Goodman
Sorry White, come again?
"Ouchtown, population: you bro!" - Pepper Brooks
The colour commentator had some golden lines throughout the film. Speaking of which...
"That's a bold move, Cotton." - Pepper Brooks
Pepper calls it how he sees it!
We know there are so many more golden lines but you're just going to have to tune in tonight to catch the rest of them. This one's a classic!
