With Movember coming to an end, Dylan DeMelo will likely no longer be sporting a moustache on his face, but he'll still be the "old young guy."
DeMelo, who's in his first season with the Senators after being acquired in the Erik Karlsson trade, has become one of the more veteran voices in the Sens dressing room despite being just 25-years-old.
Following their win over the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday night, the Sens released a video on their YouTube page of DeMelo reporting inside their team room where he interviewed Matt Duchene and Brady Tkachuk in one of the more entertaining pieces of content you'll stumble across.
One of the takeaways? The "mo" DeMelo is sporting.
Prior to the Sens game on Thursday night, DeMelo was mic'd up during warm-up where Gino Reda, Craig Button and Darren Dreger. With the muzzy flying, DeMelo was asked about his experience of being on the other side of the microphone, along with DeMelo facing his former club on Saturday.
Then Gino, who owned one of the most legendary moustaches in the history of moustaches, asked about DeMelo's 'stache in this video below.
"Oh, I've been getting a lot of compliments, I'll be honest."
"I've been called a young Gino Reda."
Well played, Dylan, well played.
The right-shot defenceman has started strong in the Nation's Capital by registering two goals, five assists in 25 games while currently playing on the Sens' top defensive pairing with Thomas Chabot.
